In the second part of Rama and the Monkeys, it begins by
Vibhishana telling his brother Ravana to give Sita back because it is clear
that Rama is a powerful being. His brother warns Ravana of his possible death.
Vibhishana goes on the side of Rama and tells him how to find Sita and how to reach
Lanka. I am interested in altering the scene where Rama and his troops build the
bridge. After crossing the bridge Ravana
gets word that Rama has entered the city and sends out Suka and Surana to investigate what are the strengths
of the army. Rama and his army set forth the quest to find Sita but it was more
difficult than anticipated. Surgiva finds Ravana and they begin to fight. Ravana
was losing the battle and sent his son out to destroy Rama and his brother. I
plan on altering his son’s attitude towards him. Rama’s brother ends up killing
Indragit which I plan on altering. Similar to the previous version of the
Ramayana that I read Rama kills Ravana. The ending in this version ended
happily ever after as compared to the previous version where Rama basically died
because everything went wrong!
